Nasonex Nasal Spray Suspension helps shrink the blood vessels and provides rapid relief that lasts for several hours. It is a safe medicine which can be used to treat congestion caused by colds or allergies such as hay fever. It should be used as prescribed and should not be taken for too long. Talk to your doctor if your symptoms do not improve.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

• Nosebleeds
• Upper respiratory tract infection
• Viral infection
• Vomiting
• Wheezing

Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Insert the bottle tip into one nostril and close the other nostril. Direct the spray towards the sides of your nostril, away from the cartilage dividing the two sides of your nose. As you spray, breath gently and keep the head upright. Repeat the same process for the other nostrils.

Nasonex Nasal Spray Suspension is a steroid. It gets absorbed into the cells of the inner surface of the nose and works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers that cause inflammation (swelling) and allergies. This relieves blocked or runny nose, sneezing and sinus discomfort, and other symptoms caused by nasal congestion and nasal polyps.
